Francic JIMENEZ 17 and Sunday April 18 , 4 components of Alhaurin-Conscorve Triathlon Club took part in the Championship of Spain by age Duathlon held at Gijon. David Gomez, one of our newest additions of Spain won the championship in the 20-25 category in a race that controlled at all times. Yolanda Fernandez broke down on the bike that cost him 20 minutes, when he was in first place in their age group and was 9 th same since her husband Daniel Persson thus guaranteeing a place for the World Age Groups Duathlon to be held next September.

On Saturday

This same Sunday, in the form Duathlon cros, our club stood with the team victory in the Duathlon Casabermeja, placing three of its runners in 6 th, 7 th and 8 th position overall. Ruben Garcia, and his father Jose Naranjo, won their respective Junior and Veteran categories respectively.

On Sunday April 25, 8 of our athletes participated in one of the long distance triathlons with more participation of Spain. The Triathlon of Elche, 1.9 km of Swimming in the sea 90 Km bike without drafting, osea no possibility to go on firing and 21 km running on a tough tour of stairs, boardwalks, trails and dunes. The result could not be better, THIRD TEAM, with over 100 teams from different nationalities, many of which are considered professionals in the Triathlon. Antonio Garcia and Antonio Aguilar leads the team in positions 18 and 21 overall, followed by Sergio Tejeda, Francisco Jiménez and Pedro Cruz, all three in a fist. Very good also the participation of Alhaurín Labrac and Juani Rodrigo Olmo. They all helped with this great result is the result of good fellowship and training environment that permeates our people.
